How have people mispronounced your name? How is it supposed to sound?
Submitted by Lorie.
"Bliss" is pretty easy to pronounce. No one misprounounces my name. It's "Bliss." Easy.
People sometimes mispronounce my breed, though. I'm a Keeshond. A lot of people say, "keesh-hound," but that's not the way you say it at all. It's "kayz-hawnd." I understand it's because it's Dutch. It means the hound belonging to Kees, the person who popularized my ancestors.
So, to recap, "kayz-hawnd," NOT "keesh-hound."
Thank you.
May I have a cookie now?
The oldest thing I own is this here cookie. I've been saving it forever. I got it from the Beta, and I've been holding onto it for a long time, to remember her when she's gone, like right now.
This cookie looks really good.
I mean, really good. And it smells good, too.
The oldest thing I have is this furball behind my left ear. I've had it for a day or two now.
I think the best song for the soundtrack of my life would be from my idol and muse, Mr. Cookie Monster.
I usually like the commercials that feature cookies. They make me want to eat cookies. But I really like this one too:
He got a new toy! I like toys almost as much as I like cookies. I'm sad Bobo was thrown away, but he got a new Bobo. I understand that. I'm on Mr. Man number 23. I wonder if he got some cookies at the same time he got a new Bobo.
Speaking of cookies, do you have one?
As a puppy, I really didn't like cookies.
Just kidding. I loved cookies then as much as I love them now.
Mmm... cookies. Do you have one?
Is that where you "do your business?" Because I tend to do my business outside on the grass. Would you like me to take a picture of it?
Oh, and do you have a cookie?
You can see my entire ancestry here.
Yes, my full name is "Kemont's Blessed Be." My biological mom's name was Halo, and my dad's was JD. They were both American Champions. I couldn't show because of an itty-bitty problem with my heart, but I'm a champion anyway. My mom says so.
My ancestry is pretty straight-forward. My parents were keeshonden, my grandparents were keeshonden, and their grandparents were keeshonden. We're Dutch, and were originally used on boats as watchdogs. Which means we bark. A LOT. See? I can't help it. It's in my genes.
